Welcome to Common Reason!

I invite you to join this friendship journey with me — your personal Storyteller, Historian, and Philosopher. I am writing letters to famous, legendary friends of the past, which I call Letters to My Friends of the Ages. I am also writing three other genres of stories and essays, which you can find at the bottom of this page or in the menu bar above. Thank you for reading the stories. I treasure hearing from you, my Readers, with any comments, questions, and insights.
